Sheltered Housing is not like a care home. Residents live independently in self-contained flats within a block of flats that has communal spaces for residents to meet and socialise. Other facilities offered as part of Sheltered Housing may include:

• Resident warden or daily on site warden
• Lift
• Door entry system
• Communal facilities (laundry/guest room/lounge/kitchen)
