Over the last few months we have been reviewing how we let our homes. We have now reached the end of the review and there are a number of changes that we have made

We have improved the information we give out when someone applies for a home – the new information is a lot more detailed, telling you all about how to apply for a home with us, and also about the areas where our homes are located

We have changed how we prioritise applications according to housing need, to make the system simple and fair

We now ask more questions on the application form and at the re-housing interview to help us better identify any support needs that applicants have

We are clearer about the circumstances where we may not re-house someone (suspend them from the waiting list)

If you are a current tenant and you are wishing to transfer homes, there is important information that you should be aware of to be accepted onto the waiting list:

• Any rent arrears or re-charges must be cleared in full
  
• The Association must not be taking any action against you for possession of your home, e.g. for anti social behaviour
  
• Your home must be in a good condition – a home visit will be undertaken and you will be advised about anything that you need to put right
